Mission and Vision

Our Mission

  • To work with former drug users / offenders and their families in developing healthy, cohesive and progressive family units;
  • To assist former drug users / offenders pursue and acquire religious knowledge, employable skills and higher education
  • To help former drug users / offenders rebuild self-confidence and self-esteem and facilitate their return to society
  • To share the ills and dangers of drug abuse with the young

Our Vision

  • MCS have a clear vision for ourselves, where we fit into the drug-abuse scene in Singapore and how we plan to work with  our stakeholders and beneficiaries. Our goals is a crucial step in realising our vision. We regularly set annual goals, and also have a 5-year plan of where we see MCS in the long-term.

Our Approach

  • Align our programmes / activities with policy and programme frameworks put up by MHA, Prisons, CNB and MUIS
  • Ground-up Initiatives - Seek inputs / ideas / feedback from our clients / partners to formulate programmes to ensure optimal results
  • Forge sustainable, workable and mutually beneficial relationships with our partners and stakeholders

Our Target Groups

  • Death-row inmates and their families
  • Families and children of former drug users/offenders
  • Former drug users/ offenders  and families wishing to upgrade themselves (education, religious   knowledge, employable skills and general self-improvement skills)
  • Outreach and public education programmes for the young, especially the millennials
